Billy, Am I right in thinking the main cable has one of these 2 pin connectors on the opposite end from the 13 amp plug? If so, they are known generally as "Figure of 8 connectors". I've hunted again, and found a 5 metre one on E-Bay from a reseller. £4.99 if you "buy now". Here's the Tiny URL following by the longer one. http://tinyurl.com/2zkekj http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LONG-FIGURE-OF-FIG-8-MAINS-POWER-CABLE -LEAD-5M-5-METRE_W0QQitemZ230190927498QQihZ013QQcategoryZ116 852QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of TrueBlue & Proud Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 10:24 AM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: longer power cable for Victor Classic? George, as usual much sense, the only drawback with extensions is that I am wanting longer cable for going on holiday, and the power socket is quite a distance from the bed. Maybe, using the battery function is the only solution, Billy ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 10:04 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: longer power cable for Victor Classic? Hi Billy, I have a feeling that there are electrical regulations in place which prevent suppliers from providing equipment with mains cables above 2 - 3 metres. Indeed I've just spent the last 20 minutes or so going through some of our supplier catalogues, and have not been able to find anything suitable. I suggest a normal extension cable might be your best bet. George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of TrueBlue & Proud Sent: Friday, December 21, 2007 9:36 AM To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: longer power cable for Victor Classic?
