Hi Andy The best way that I have found to build my confidence is to teach someoneelse the things I know. If you are talking about your confidence to go outand about with your guide dog, then perhaps you could buddy up with a new guide dog owner in the area? Guide dogs could help you with this. When I trained with my latest dog, my trainer introduced me to a recently blind, new guide dog owner. I became his mentor but we soon became friends and nowmeet for lunch every week. Also, something that I tell my girlfriend every time she goes for a drivinglesson is that she has done it before so she can do it again. Use it as a mantra when you feel your confidence sliding. Hope that helps Barry -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Ofandrew shipp Sent: 15 August 2007 6:35 PM To: access-uk Subject: [access-uk] how does one build confidenceHi all, I need some help here in how does one build there confidence levelup, I have lost a lot of confidence in the last few weeks and need to get it back.
