May I also suggest http://smtp2go.com This is very good for those who travel a lot especially as some ISPs would only let you use their own smtp details and also some providers lets you use their SMTP only if you're connected to them. This does cost, but not a lot and for someone who might travel a lot it's very useful as you set it once and no matter where you go you can send mail through their servers. I don't remember how much it cost. They also let you have a free trial. I have used them for a while now and tI personally think it's a verysimple but affective and useful service. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jackie Brown Sent: 01 April 2014 15:17 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; 'BCAB Discussion List' Subject: [access-uk] Using Pop3 Email away from home Apologies for cross-posting, but I need to know something regarding the use of sending Emails while away from home. I am taking both my iOS devices and BrailleSense with me when I go to Scotland tomorrow, but when I wish to reply to any Emails I receive, what SMTP protocol would I use? At the moment, my incoming and outgoing are both mail.btinternet.com, so if I use WiFI where I am staying, do I just change the SMTP to whatever their provider is, or is it more complicated than that? I hope this makes sense, and thanks to anyone who manages to understand and reply to this accordingly.
