Hi,

Yes, just change your SMTP server. You may have to change to their user
name and password as well, since it may require authentication.

Or you could just use your phone operator's SMTP server if you know it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Using Pop3 Email away from home

Apologies for cross-posting, but I need to know something regarding the use
of sending Emails while away from home.

I am taking both my iOS devices and BrailleSense with me when I go to
Scotland tomorrow, but when I wish to reply to any Emails I receive, what
SMTP protocol would I use? At the moment, my incoming and outgoing are both
mail.btinternet.com, so if I use WiFI where I am staying, do I just change
the SMTP to whatever their provider is, or is it more complicated than that?

I hope this makes sense, and thanks to anyone who manages to understand and
reply to this accordingly.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown
