Hi Tony,

When you call up Duxbury's "Emboss" dialog, press the F1 key for
context sensitive help.

You have a number of options when embossing from Duxbury. In this
instance, you can select braille page numbers, or page sequence
numbers. Subtle but important difference.

Braille page numbers speak for themselves. 1-5, 3-7, etc.. But also
a-c or b-e.

Page "Sequence" numbers are where for example, a Preface and Table of
Contents might be Roman Numbered say a - j, and the chapters begin
with page 1. Consequently braille page number 1 is actually the 11th
page in the sequence of pages.

Feel free to contact me off list. For my sins, I author Duxbury's
Help files, so if I'm not making things clear, I'm anxious to rectify
matters.

George.

Hi George & Jackie,

A final question (for now at any rate) on The Index & DBT is, are you
talking about the number of braille pages or the print ones?

I was referring to the Braille pages so a clarification would be good.

I may not have explained that too well!

Thanks

Tony
