Well, thing is, An upgrade from Jaws 7.1 to 9.0 is quoted at 281
pounds,
so I hope there's no doubt that it is much improved over version 8.

Hi, JAWS 9 is working brilliantly for me. Very reliable and responsive
under Vista, if you're using that; if not, it should be the same under
XP. Hope that helps
