I think perhaps you've hit a wrong page somewhere.
JAWS 7 - 9 Standard is £165.
JAWS 7 - 9 Professional is £275.

Well, thing is, An upgrade from Jaws 7.1 to 9.0 is quoted
at 281 pounds,
so I hope there's no doubt that it is much improved over
version 8.

responsive under
Vista, if you're using that; if not, it should be the same
under XP. Hope
