Hi Peter,

I am even running WE along with JAWS 9, except for these random jawsvid
freezes. I have to say now that JAWS 9 is very responsive, much more so
than some previous versions, but when the JAWS gang jump to its defence,
they never admit its inherent instability. You only have to look at
access-uk itself to see how many people have problems with JAWS compared to
those having problems with WE. Flash is another example where JAWS is very
poor. I have both screen readers, and I try to be objective, but GW are
getting much more stable, while JAWS is going to collapse in a big heap in
my view very soon. Hal also is very stable, it's just a shame about its
poor performance on the web.

All the best

Steve

You can run both jaws and window-eyes on the same computer without any
problems.
