Hi, SAPI4 Eloquence. The integrated Dectalk's just as bad in terms of performance. But then it's probably me who's so used to Eloquence that I can't be bothered to try new synthesizers <smiles>. Seriously though, they deserve each other when it comes to performance. Sorry for the ranting, but there you go. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

You could say that Steve. I did try Window-Eyes, your favourite <smiles>,
but it's sluggish despite me using a dual core processor and 2 GB RAM. Not
so with JAWS, sorry.

Hi, JAWS 9 is working brilliantly for me. Very reliable and responsive
under Vista, if you're using that; if not, it should be the same under
XP. Hope that helps
