Hi, I don't know if it would work with NVDA, but the Samsung stuff just slows down the machine anyway. All these settings are optional, if you like them enabled, leave them on. OK, first, look in the advanced tab of system settings, and disable all the visual stuff like menu animation. Then, set all screen savers, desktop backgrounds, themes etc to the lowest possible settings. In other words, don't have a background, or a screensaver. Then, uninstall McAfee, and all the Samsung rubbish that isn't accessible anyway. Finally, set as many things as possible to classic. Logon screen, start menu, etc, makes boot times much faster. --Check out my radio and TeamTalk server! http://www.jls-radio.com -- James Scholes E-mail: james@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN/Windows Live Messenger: jamesscholes@xxxxxxx AIM: JamesScholes000 Skype: james.scholes Website: http://www.jamesscholes.com Blog: http://www.jamesscholes.com/blog Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/jamesscholes Find me on Facebook!
