Hi, I don't know if it would work with NVDA, but the Samsung stuff just slows
down the machine anyway.

Hi James

You say that the Samsung stuff isn't accessible, would it
not work with nvda?

Subject: [access-uk] Performance Improvements on the NC10

Hi all, for owners of the NC10, here's a few things I've
done to my NC10 and its now running much faster! All these
settings are optional, if you like them enabled, leave them
on. OK, first, look in the advanced tab of system settings,
and disable all the visual stuff like menu animation. Then,
set all screen savers, desktop backgrounds, themes etc to
the lowest possible settings. In other words, don't have a
background, or a screensaver. Then, uninstall McAfee, and
all the Samsung rubbish that isn't accessible anyway.
Finally, set as many things as possible to classic. Logon
screen, start menu, etc, makes boot times much faster.
