Hi David,
These netbooks are especially smaller than your conventional laptop, as they
are ten inches wide. They are very handy to carry
around and this makes them especially useful to school students and people on
the go.
As well as this, I've heard that they have very good keyboards, a 160 GB hard
drive, card reader, built-in WLAN bluetooth etc. They come with a gig of ram,
though I've heard from a friend that it is extremely easy to replace this with
a 2 GB stick. I think that if you are on the go, they are excellent
alternatives compared to full size laptops.
Best regards,
orhan deniz

Hi David

It's the Samsung NC10, being shortened to NC10. Is that what you mean?

Hi all. I have just bought the NC10 and it's great. I have done the
alterations regarding screensavers and have the XP one running. The
battery is great. I have got rid of MacAfee and installed AVG. System
Access runs great on it. The lady who served ne thought I was buying it
for my wife. She

didn't think people with low vision could use netbooks. So I then
started to

tell her about screen readers and she seemed surprised to learn of
assistive

technology. It's a thankless task educating the sighted.
