Hi Christine.

I have spoken with Karen recently and I believe the email situation is
rectified. I can only apologise again for all the confusion surrounding
Guidemail but like I have already mentioned this was nothing to do with
our company and I was not aware of the situation. I have setup a new
email account for her and between us we successfully managed to
configure Guide with her new account details. She can now happily send
and receive her emails again. Karen did extremely well with the
instructions I gave her and she was a real sport during this. I hope
that the situation has been succesfully resolved and her faith in
ourselves restored. Please feel free to drop me a line at
phil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you have any further queries. In answer to
your query regarding signing up for freelists or groups, they work the
same through Guide as through Outlook Express etc. If Karen contacts me
to request how to do this then I shall be only too happy to guide her
through the process.

I hope this helps !

Kind regards Phil.

This thread ends here on the list.

Christine, I understand why you're upset and would have replyed on the
list
myself, but this has to stop on here.

I hope you're friend gets this sorted out. I'm sure to some degree we

can all identify how liberating technology today is to us, and I know
myself
how
I get cold turkey and feel a bit lost if my computer or service
haults.
And
I'm probably alot more techy than you're mate. It's frustrating when
you get passed from piller to post on support lines.

Hopefully this guy can help you out in email and phone.

Let us know if it gets sorted.
