also, if you go to Brian Hartgen's audio portal
www.hartgen.org
you will find a description of the Zenstone and other audio players useable
by visually impaired people.

Just to add to what graham says - no you don't have to use any special
software to add content to the stone, just copy and paste files and folders
to it like any other drive or folder in windows.

Make sure you get the stone, not the stone plus - the plus models have a
screen and are less easy to use.

Subject: [access-uk] Info on zen stone please

Hi

I am interested in getting a zenstone mp3 player. I have a few questions to
ask:

Is creative media player or the software which comes with the zenstone
accessible with hal?
Is it easy to use the zenstone itself?
I notice from the many lists that many vi people use zenstone, I really want
to get one so that I can download
mp3 talking books as I am limited being in France, can you recommend some
good sites please, Do I have to use the creative software to copy my mp3's
to the zenstone?

These are just a few of the questions I have for now, no doubt I'll have
more as time goes on, I only wish that I had taken notice of the posts on
the groups over the past few months.

One last thing, can somebody please give me the website for sendspace.

Regards

Adrien
