Hi please can someone tell me nhow to get scripts or skills or whatever they
are called from the app because all I can find is the radio and can’t get to

yes you do need smart home devices.
you could get either compatible smart light bulbs or similar light switches and
you would need something like the british gas Hive smart thermostat to be able
to control your central heating.
