Hi, I have an account with both Lloyds TSB and Natwest. I agree, Natwest is
accessible, but actually Lloyds is more accessible. I find with Natwest, for
example, in order to get the links to work I have to route the virtual cursor
to the JAWS cursor and do a left click, whereas I don't need to with Lloyds.
Hope that helps.

  Subject: [access-uk] Accessible online banking

  hi,

My wife and I have used the IF online bank for a good few years now for all
our transactions, savings, direct debits etc. Up until now I've let her as the
sighted one do all the necessaries re managing the accounts and I have no
complaints with that apart from the fact I would really like to be more hands
on with what's going on, look after some of the stuff myself in particular as I
am self-employed and so would like to be able to deal with some more of the
basic work of moving money around myself.

so my questions is quite simple, what experience do people have of different
online banking services and in particular is there one bank / building society
that people really rate in term of the accessibility of their site with access
technology (in my case Jaws 8). I will do some investigating of our current
bank, IF, although from the limited experience I've had before it seems quite
confusing to work with when you're trying to manage say a couple of current
accounts, savings, ISA's etc.

Anyway your comments / recommendations gratefully received,

  with thanks,

  Phil
