I use natwest online banking and that has been recognised as being
accessible. it works with jaws eight and work well too. it also work well
with System access which I use to get online now as jaws is broken, another
tale that. *smile*

Subject: [access-uk] Accessible online banking

hi,

My wife and I have used the IF online bank for a good few years now for all
our transactions, savings, direct debits etc. Up until now I've let her as
the sighted one do all the necessaries re managing the accounts and I have
no complaints with that apart from the fact I would really like to be more
hands on with what's going on, look after some of the stuff myself in
particular as I am self-employed and so would like to be able to deal with
some more of the basic work of moving money around myself.

so my questions is quite simple, what experience do people have of different
online banking services and in particular is there one bank / building
society that people really rate in term of the accessibility of their site
with access technology (in my case Jaws 8). I will do some investigating of
our current bank, IF, although from the limited experience I've had before
it seems quite confusing to work with when you're trying to manage say a
couple of current accounts, savings, ISA's etc.

Anyway your comments / recommendations gratefully received,

with thanks,

Phil
