[access-uk] Re: 195

I think you have to fill in a form from what I can remember from 20 years ago when the service was set up after BT started to charge for directory enquiries. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack Goodfellow" <Jack.Goodfellow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi

Its always free, though I've heard there are some issues accessing it
with certain providers I forget who. As per your message, ring and ask
to be set up with a pin

Jack

Hello all.
Now that I have a home phone, I would like to subscribe to the free 195
directory enquiries service. My line rental is with Sky, and I have
taken out a Sky Talk subscription. So do I just ring 195, say that I am
blind and hard of hearing and request I have a pin to access free
directory enquiries? Also, how much does 195 cost for the initial call?
Or is it always free.
Sorry for many questions.
Many thanks in advance.
Take care.
