I'll certainly pass this on to the training department in our
organisation. I'm in the diversity department so I'm going to put my
money where my mouth is. (smile)

Now let's close this one as it doesn't properly belong here, as you say,
though email is one of the provisions, and many organisations do say
they are not allowed to send emails to their customers.

I agree, but similarly if diversity departments and trainers taught
people to ask that question as well, "how may I best assist you? Would
you like that in an alternative format of your choice?"

we wouldn't have to be discussing this again on a list where it doesn't
belong.

Please take 195 and non technical issues off this list, vi-genaccess is
the home for that sort of query!
