Good Morning Carson,
Thank You for your Heads up E - Mail . I just read it, after two taking two
,truckloads of branches and brush to Riverside Recycling for a friend
I was informed once several years ago the WPD was short on traffic control
man / woman power , to cite people like the ones you saw.
Nevertheless, an enhanced patrol of Motorists NOT stopping for Pedestrians
in Crosswalks in Westbrook resulted in 18 Citations in just 2 Hours last
week . Or during the Fourth of July weekend.
I have witnessed several close calls of various infractions in Westbrook,
some people have no idea how close they came to being a statistic.
Stay Safe my Friend,

At about 7:05 this morning my Wife was taking me to the gym on Quinby.
As we approached Mechanic Street while heading West on WCD at least 5
vehicles solidly ran the red light coming towards us as they headed east.
Just imagine a blind pedestrian believing they were safe to cross WCD
headed North according to the audible signal not realizing traffic was
racing and running the light?
That blind pedestrian would be dead.

LeeLee, the first is our website address. This gives the individual the
ability to learn more about WSMAC, get added to the email list etc. The
email address gives the individual a means of contacting us. Your opinions

AWESOME JOB! One quick thing: I'd have either one or the other email
address, not both. Just my opinion.
