Hi David, The Consensus is that #1 is a clay colored sparrow and most think #2 is a song sparrow, here's another look: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4002/4644700902_9dcdea4ecf_b.jpg But, many conflicts on the flycatcher, willow, pewee, acadian, one maybe least.. were all mentioned. Thoughtful comments: "I believe this one is most likely a Willow. The wings are too long for a Least, and the narrow eye-ring looks about right for a Willow. "Eastern Wood-Pewee (least would have a distinct eyering, shorter primary projection and, shorter, squatter shape overall, with a lighter colored head)." Here's more looks at the flycatcher: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3349/4644079091_3e6c24595d_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3356/4644693156_09109ec6c6_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4006/4644694818_ca8b17379a_b.jpg ----- Original Message ----- --- On Tue, 5/25/10, John Stuckert <jstuckert4@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Hi Everyone, Thanks for the correction on the Henslow's sparrow. I represented it as a LeConte's and that was wrong. More than one of you said Grasshopper, but the consensus is Henslow's: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3141/4637815130_7ae38af6d2_b.jpg I was so miserable at that one, that I would like to submit the following sparrow's and one flycatcher for ID help/review.
