Two last quick notes on Wisconsin Point that I forgot to mention in the earlier post. A Lark Sparrow was seen on the Point on Thursday, the 23rd. And today, right after many people left, the cry went up Jaeger. Those of us about to leave, that were in the parking lot, raced back out to the beach at Stop 1 and were treated to a close, leisurely, and long view of a subadult Parasitic Jaeger as it cruised by us and chased gulls. (This was right after Tom Schultz had left--- ahem.) (One can never see too many jaegers! What a treat! For the past week at least 12 different Parasitics were seen on the Point, some closer than others.) And now, definitely some much needed sleep. And tomorrow much neglected yard and home work.
