Thanks for posting, Nolan. As far as parking, itâs probably better not to
park by the equipment. The shoulder isnât bad. You can also park on Goodland
Park Road, and walk north. Iâm not sure if you would have to walk through any
mud. The areas where they scrapped are very muddy.
Ellen, Cynthia and I got great close looks. We saw 9 in the air. Last seen the
birds were down by the ribbons, also pipits in the area.

Subject: [wisb] Smith's Longspurs
Steve Thiessen just called, and he found Smith's Longspurs west of the area
where there was a pond on Larson Road.
They are between Larson and MM. There is a parking area on MM, where
heavy earth moving equipment is parked. From that parking lot, walk
east toward the pink ribbons (toward Larson Rd). He definitely has seen
two males, and possible 5 Smiths.
