Hello All, Thanks to Andrea for posting this. I have conducted a sundown vigil at Buena Vista Grasslands on about a half dozen occasions in the last three weeks, hoping for an apparition from the fluid and mobile Short-ear. Now there be hope for the weeks ahead. (Keep your fingers crossed for a few nests to be established at Buena Vista this spring.) I did this afternoon, I suspect pay final tribute to the last of the season's Snowy Owls at Buena Vista. I toured the area from 12:30 P.M. till about 7:50 P.M. and saw NO SIGN OF ONE. Perhaps the southerly warmth of the weekend and Monday finally took it north. Best Wishes, Michael J.
