Spring must be on its way. We saw 4 cranes winging their way north over Upper
Nashotah Lake. What an awesome sound! I didn't think I was hearing right
initially!

Subject: [wisb] Sandhill Crane--Waukesha County

There was a Sandhill Crane walking and feeding in the fields north of
the DNR Headquarters along hwy. 59. This location is just a few miles
west of Eagle and approaching the Jefferson County line. Okay it was
just one crane, but is spring on it's way? There was also a flock of
Canada Geese heading northwest.
