There are still Sandhill Cranes in our marsh. Just about every time I go for
a morning walk, I see two of them in some local field, yard or empty lot poking
in the ground for food. I have to remember to take my camera next time.Â
Also, we got a few pine siskins at our feeder, and my wife keeps hearing robins
outside. We have also had a Hairy Woodpecker showing up daily at our seed
log. He is coming close to decimating it. We're going to need another log
or two this winter, i think.  Alan LinquistWashington County
