A small flock of common redpolls were at my feeder this morning at about 9 am
(across the Wisconsin River from Sauk City.) I was happy to see three hoary
redpolls in the mix!

Hello all,
Today we counted 67 Common Redpolls in our yard, this is our highest
count ever in the 20 years of living here. Ironically, there are two other
spots in e-bird that are within a half mile of our house and we are reporting
the least amount of Common Redpolls in our area. This means this years
Redpoll irruption for this area is Really Good!!!
Sure makes Winter nicer in an irruption year.
Good Birding,
