I too had a mini invasion of Common Redpolls yesterday. It really is hard to
count them as they blend in on the ground under the trees! There were close to
60 birds but there were several Pine Siskins and a handful of House Sparrows
mixed in. A squirrel tore a hole in one of the sock feeders so there was a
feeding frenzy on the ground under it!
