As Peter mentioned the forecast looked good for the owl routes, so I
conducted one tonight. The weather was great in central Wisconsin also.
More excitedly for me, on my first survey, I heard 4 Barred Owls and 1 Great
Horned Owl. Other species found during the survey included a Savannah
Sparrow, Wilson's Snipes, Snow Geese, Canada Geese, Mallards, a raccoon,
deer, and a curious police officer.

A more detailed narrative can be found on this link.

Hope everyone stayed safe on owl surveys tonight
