I reloacted the Northern Mockingbird this morning at Radtke Point Park, which is a small park on Lake Wausau that butts up next to the south side of the Wausau Airport in the Wausau/Schofield area. The bird was seen eating sumac berries this morning, and many of the sumac trees have already been eaten on. The bird was rather skittish today and only showed itself a few times when I went looking for it. Maybe as it warms up this afternoon, it'll come out more. The eight Red-necked Grebes that I had at Radtke Point yesterday have moved to the north end of the lake. I saw them at Everest Park this morning and they were joined by an additional bird, so now we have nine present on Lake Wausau. Common Loons are also still on the lake in good numbers.
