Hello All,
I'd like to offer congratulations to Jim for his report on the Door County
Northern Hawk Owl and the accompanying photo link.
His photos were the best that I have seen posted thus far! Great Images!
I would offer one bit of descriptive challenge, however. I believe that the
mammal that the Hawk Owl was holding in the photos was probably a Meadow Vole.
Notice the shape of the head and nose in the first photo of the bird with prey
on the power line after capture.
