Went for a walk outside just now. We donâ??t seem to get many good migratory
sparrows, but amongst all the usual suspects singing loudly I was able to find
my FOY savannah sparrow which breed around here. A single cedar waxwing (not
FOY, but first in a while) was singing nearby. Also a couple FOY eastern
phoebes.
A lot of our ponds are still largely flooded, and will probably stay this way
as major thunderstorms move through tonight.
