Please be kind to the eBird reviewers! Enter a few words describing the
bird that will confirm the ID and differentiate it from other species which
could be confused with it. This will allow the reviewer to validate the
sighting without an email exchange.

And, as John Kivikoski reminded us the other day, eBird will be asking you
to "confirm" species that may seem obvious to experienced birders. Keep in
mind, this is temporary, and is designed to reinforce IDs that might be
tricky for certain species for less-experienced birders. Yes, it's an
extra step, but getting peeved about it won't do you or your blood pressure
any good.
