Don't forget that today is the first day of the GBBC. If you have never
participated before, and are interested, see the GBBC website to get started
and create an account, which you will need to enter data.

And, as John Kivikoski reminded us the other day, eBird will be asking you to
"confirm" species that may seem obvious to experienced birders. Keep in mind,
this is temporary, and is designed to reinforce IDs that might be tricky for
certain species for less-experienced birders. Yes, it's an extra step, but
getting peeved about it won't do you or your blood pressure any good.
