Mary & all

I had a similar experience at my place about a week ago. Resident Cooper's
stopped for a rest on my backyard fence. The neighborhood squirrels were eating
and playing close-by. One squirrel in particular kept edging closer to the
Cooper's Hawk till finally the big guy opened his wings as if to show size
superiority. He then flew off. I guess he wasn't very hungry just then!
