Because the sod farms of Racine County are a pretty regular target this time of
year for people looking for the Buff-breasted Sandpipers, I thought I'd share
that if you should come down to this area, you might also want to check the sod
farms on Cnty. Hwy. G west of Hwy. 45. Quite honestly, that area looks better
than the traditional areas around Britton and Burmeister Roads right now. Sod
must be a not-too-good of cash crop and seems like a good portion of the sod
farms are being planted with other crops. At least this year.
