Bernie, have you seen the size of the catfish in the Mississippi river?  Blue 
catfish can reach 5ft in length. Alligator Gar can be nearly 6ft.   I'd imagine 
fish in lake Michigan can get a bit larger. Easily big enough to eat something 
as small as a grebe.
