Greetings~
I have a trail camera set up on a deer carcass and was surprised to see an
adult golden eagle feeding two days in a row -- Jan 30 & 31. I have not seen
the bird other than on the camera since. Perhaps it's still in the area? I
guess time will tell. There have been several other bald eagles feeding as
well. My assumption is one is nearby waiting its turn where you see the golden
eagle mantling the deer carcass.
