[windows2000] terminal services help

I have a win 2000 server, and I'd like to administrate it from my
desktop within the office (win xp pro), but the connection isn't
working. I tried removing the registry keys like one of the help docs
said. I have terminal server in remote administration mode. It just
keeps saying it can't connect and I don't know why. Terminal server
service is running. Why isn't this working? *pull hair out*
