I'll try that thanks....although it appears i may have more issues.  I =
recently just fdisk the whole thing, and had problems just installing =
the original OS (xp home)  I'm on phone with support as I type.  It's =
less than 30 days old, so I'm going for replacement.

I've had problems installing Windows XP pro before and having it lock up
(although for me the system rebooted).  I found that after disconnecting =
the
USB to Serial Belkin device, the setup continued fine.  The moral of the
store is to disconnect EVERYTHING possible before installing or =
upgrading
Windows XP.
