Wow is right!

While many install programs will offer to put a shortcut on your desktop, most of them (other than Bill's favorites, like Internet Explorer and email) have been moved to the Start, Programs menu in the modern Windows OS. Just right-click on the desktop and create a new folder for each of your sub-categories, then drag the icons into the appropriate folders.

I upgraded recently from W3.1 to W2000 and miss some of the capabilities
of the old 3.1. For example I now have a screenful of icons on the
Desktop! I've been looking for ways to subgroup some of them so I don't
have to have them all showing! Gate's and company have not really
improved Windows, but merely making it more difficult to use.
