"Black is fast", I learned in the 386-days in a computer magazine.
I still tend to stick with it. It takes next to nothing for the
graphics card to draw a black screen. 8-)
Besides I'm a performance junkie. 8-) If you can get some extra
speed and snapiness for free, like in this instance, I'm all for
it!
