[windows2000] Slow network searching

Hi all,
Sorry, this is a little off topic but I thought this list is more suited to
our problem!
We have just started upgrading our workstations from Win2K to WinXp Pro. We
have noticed that when searching a network drive for a file using the
'Search for files and folders' wizard in XP, it takes at least 3 minutes to
finish. When the same search is carried out on Win2k, the search takes
seconds.
Has anyone seen / solved this problem before?
