Hey no one agreed with my schtasks.exe either (where you can control the account under which someting runs)! Rodney Dangerfield, Jim, David = no respect! I have just used schtasks.exe to push out updates to Java VM (the developers are in house and should not do this to us! - what's the difference between 1.4 and 1.42?) to over 1700 workstations throughout CA and NV where users can't write to C:\. Using schtasks.exe, I don't have to mess with our already huge and messy logon.cmd which is overseen by someone else. I've used PSFile and I'm going to try PSExec on a few of these workstations that did ot run the scheduled task. Hoping for more respect David ----- Original Message ----- > Hmm considering I suggested this right off the bat about 20 messages ago > in > this thread why the f_ck didn't anyone agree? > The utility to use is PSexec from sysinternals which lets you execute a > file > on a remote workstation as any user you desire. > And it is free. > JK > ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor StressedPuppy.com Games Feeling stressed out?
