supposed to, but it hasn't yet. Our 9X boxes added fine after we loaded =
the DS Client.

Normally, Ray is correct. But I believe (and I may be wrong) that once =
you
add the DS client, it makes the process of joining a domain emulate a =
Win2K
box instead of an NT4 box, at least in respect to Name Resolution...

Are you running a WINS server? I ~~~~~~think~~~~~~ you need to be
running WINS. Okay, maybe just the browser service on the NT machines
actually. But you know that you have to join the old style netbios name
of the domain, right? Like, not mydomain.com, but MYDOMAIN.

I've checked the archives and found nothing that works. We have 5 or 6
=3D3D
NT 4.0 WS that we cannot add to our domain. All are SP6a with all the =
=3D3D
current patches and updates. I keep getting the message that it can't =
=3D3D
find the domain controller. I have loaded the DS client for NT and made
=3D3D
entries in the LMHOSTS file, rebooted and still nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
