Behind the firewall and getting those, eh?

Is he the only person getting these net sends? If it were something on your
network, you'd think that lots of people would be getting them. Do you have
ports 135, 136, or 137 (I think) forwarded to his IP from your firewall?
What happens if you go home and try to net send your firewall IP? Does this
person get the message?

Does the net send have a FROM name that you recognize? This is easily
spoofed, but who knows, maybe it'll show up as "Message from BOBS_COMPUTER."

I had a user this morning asking me about annoying pop-ups from the
messenger service trying to sell him things.

I disabled the messenger service on his computer and all was well.

Only one problem, this user is on the inside of my firewall. My
firewall is blocking the correct stuff so that leads me to believe that some
bonehead user has gone and done something stupid. Any ideas on how to find
out?
