m3u files & Winamp

Hello!
I am using Winamp 5.03 and I have all file types selected. I am not able to
play M3u files. Why is this? As I said, all file types are selected. Do I
need to have something such as a plugin to play these files? I have even
tried to rename it as an MP3 with no luck. I was going to listen to Harry
Potter.
