Hi Duyhan M3U files are not sound files, they are play list files. If you open one in Winamp, and go to your play list editor window, you will find a play list in there. If you open an M3U file in a text editor, like Wordpad, you'll find it contains the file paths of all the files in a particular play list. I hope that answers your question.
