I have not found a difference when trying to use the equalizer settings does one have to do something specific to turn on the feature? Thanks!

Well, I can't speak for others, but for me it has to do with Winamp's equalizer. Currently, I'm having major trouble with my sound card software. In short, I can't get to the settings to boost the bass, treble, etc. I can't even open the program because I get an error message. Trust me, I've reinstalled the software and done everything else I could think of (including trying to get customer support with no luck). Starting fresh with a new sound card looms in my future.
But in the mean time, I was wanting to use Winamp mostly because I do have control over how much bass and treble I have. But it does sound like it's difficult to set up... more trouble than it's worth.

ok guys, i'm not sure, maybe one of you can explain it to me? What would be the advantage of using Winamp to play your dvds as opposed to other software? It sounds to me like with a lot of these plugins, you have to have other dvd software installed on your system first, which the plugin
accesses and just transfers over to Winamp. Now if it was me, I would say just use that other dvd software, since it's already installed, and most, if not all of us are just listening to the audio on the dvd and i'm sure other software would do the job just fine. But hey if there's a plugin out there that doesn't require another piece of software to be installed first, and itworks with screenreaders,
I'd be interested to know.

Yes, I had the same question. Can I play a DVD in Winamp 5.08? I went
Winamplooking over at Winamp.com for a plug in to do this but didn't find one. Not sure exactly what I'm looking for, though, so maybe that's why. I really, really, really, really, really would prefer to useNoseworthyfor my DVD's if all possible.
