Which Version of Winamp should I be using?

Hi, Listers --
I'm new to the list, and new to Winamp as well. Is there a particular
version of Winamp I should be using, as opposed to any other versions of the
same program?
I'm running a Dell computer with Windows XP and Jaws, and am blind, if that
matters.
Also, are there any scripts I need to download, and from where?
