Volume in Winamp

Hey all,
Some one told me that there is a comand in winamp that is separate from the
system volume. Is this true? The reason I am asking this, is because the last
time I tried to broadcast, when I tried to turn Winamp down, the system volume
turned down as well. So, I couldn't hear Jaws,or anything.
If any one can help, I would appreciate it.
